Delft, the Netherlands, September 27th 2019
Following a yearly tradition, the DBSS was happy to organize the 2019 DBSS Symposium: Simulation of Human Behaviour. This time, the event took place at the end of September and was hosted by the Delft University of Technology. Several speakers gave talks about different simulation approaches to human behaviour modelling tehcniques and challenges, covering different areas such as: financial crime (Edgar Lopez), emergency and disaster management (Adriano Solis), large crowd movement (Ashish Verma) and urban development (Margarita Bagamanova).
A special session for PhD students was hosted, where they presented their works related to simulation of human behaviour in different areas.
We were pleased with the presence of many students, academics and industry represantitves, and practitioners who gave their precious contributions by discussing, sharing ideas and views about simulation and modelling approaches.
As a registered member of the DBSS you can request access to the presentations of the DBSS 2019 Symposium (guest speakers and young researchers). The membership includes a discount in all DBSS and EUROSIM congresses and workshops as well as a special discount for courses offered by the DBSS.
